Responding to Mothership's queries, a Shi Li Fang Hot Pot spokesperson said the restaurant had disposed of the plate "at the earliest opportunity", and that it will "strengthen store inspections and overall management to prevent similar occurrences".

According to the post caption, written in the dog's perspective, the group had gone on a "sheltered walk" at Kallang and later enjoyed a "yummy hotpot dinner" at Katong Square.

"Our pawrents ordered three portions of non-marinated meat and grilled them for us," the caption read.
