Audi seen parked at Chin Swee Rd footpath on Jan. 26 entered Woodlands Checkpoint motorcycle lane on Jan. 29

A white Audi was seen in the motorcycle departure zone at Woodlands Checkpoint on Jan. 29.

The same white Audi was also seen parked on a footpath near Chin Swee Road just days earlier, on Jan. 26.

First post

In a video posted to a Facebook group on Jan. 29, the Audi could be seen seemingly with its brake lights on in the motorcycle lane.

An officer could be seen attending to the car as several riders behind it filtered out of the lane.

According to the user who shared the post, this incident occurred at Woodlands Checkpoint at around 2:30pm.

Second post

A day later on Jan. 30, a separate Facebook post on SGRV Front Man showed a white Audi parked on a footpath near Chin Swee Road.

In one photo, the police could be seen attending to the car, and an individual who appeared to be an elderly man was seen with the officers.

Online commenters were quick to point out that it was the same car in both Facebook posts, going by the licence plate number.

According to the SGRV Front Man post, the Chin Swee Road photos were taken on Jan. 26.

Mothership understands that after the police arrived on Jan. 26, the driver moved the car off the footpath without incident.

Regarding the Jan. 29 incident, an Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) spokesperson told Mothership that the car accidentally entered the Woodlands Checkpoint departure motorcycle zone.

ICA officers promptly assisted the driver to move the vehicle out of the zone and directed it back to Singapore.
