A total of 12 migrant workers, aged 23 to 40, were arrested for suspected drug-related offences following a four-hour Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) raid at a Woodlands dormitory on Nov. 27.
One of them is a Myanmar national, while the rest are Bangladeshis.
CNB said on Nov. 28 that among those nabbed was a 34-year-old Bangladeshi man, who was arrested for suspected drug trafficking and drug consumption offences.
Woodlands East Neighbourhood Police Centre, which participated in the raid, shared about it on Facebook on Dec. 10.
Officers from the Health Sciences Authority, Immigration and Checkpoints Authority, Ministry of Manpower and the police joined the operations that occurred before midnight.
