Car skids & crashes in Teck Whye, man, 40, arrested for suspected drink driving

A car was believed to have self-skidded and crashed at the junction of Teck Whye Avenue and Choa Chu Kang Road on Dec. 12.

The police said they were alerted to the incident at 12:55am on Friday.

A man, 40, was arrested as he was suspected to have been driving under the influence.

The driver of the white Hyundai was conveyed conscious to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

Photos of the aftermath of the incident was posted on Reddit.

The white car's airbags were deployed.

The bonnet was dented by a sign post.

The car's licence plate was strewn onto the grass alongside other debris, including what looked to be an uprooted street lamp pole.

Police investigations are ongoing, stated the SPF.
