Chinese singer, 33, behind viral 'Learn to Meow' song, reveals surgery after thyroid cancer recurrence

Feng Timo, the 33-year-old singer behind the viral cover of the "Learn to Meow" song, has been on a year-long hiatus.

Over that period, rumours of her death have been spreading.

Most of it is speculation that her previous bout of thyroid cancer had flared up again.

In 2023, Feng stopped livestreaming for about half-a-year after a surgery following an advanced thyroid cancer diagnosis.

Recently, Feng told her fans that there had been a recurrence of her thyroid cancer, so she had to undergo another surgery.

However, she assured them that surgery had gone well, and she was recovering.

She was now following the doctor's advice to take it easy and maintain a positive attitude.

Feng also revealed that she will be starting a new company on her own, hoping to help those who want to become livestreamers.
