UK street interview names S'pore as country with nicest people, S'poreans perplexed but thankful

In yet another global-themed vox pop making the rounds online, YouTuber Alanthedude quizzed passers-by on which country they felt had the nicest people.

The first respondent in the video stated Australia, and the next woman mentioned a familiar country.

This would not be the only instance, as three more folks also picked Singapore.

No reasons were put forth in the video, although the interviewer did do a slight double-take at the fourth "Singapore".

Double confirm.

Final tally.

The lack of reasons given, though, meant there were multiple hypotheses provided in the comments by perplexed Singaporeans.

Although most were grateful.

Other emotions surfaced.

It is also worth noting that other street interviews may portray Singapore quite differently. For instance, there was a recent example, a couple of months ago.
