Pedestrian, 46, dies after accident with motorcycle outside Bukit Batok Bus Depot

A 46-year-old man has died in hospital after being involved in an accident with a motorcycle outside Bukit Batok Bus Depot.

The accident occurred late on Dec. 5, according to a Facebook post by SG Road Vigilante.

Pedestrian, motorcycle

In response to Mothership's queries, the police confirmed they were alerted at around 11:20pm on Dec. 5 to an accident involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian, on Bukit Batok Street 23 towards Bukit Batok East Avenue 6.

The pedestrian was unconscious when conveyed to the hospital where he later died.

The male motorcyclist, 27, was taken conscious to the hospital.

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force shared that one person was conveyed to National University Hospital and another person to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

The police added that investigations are ongoing.

Aftermath

In the video showing the aftermath of the accident, two ambulances can be seen at the accident site.

 

A motorcycle can be seen lying near the kerb.

One paramedic appears to be performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

The video caption states that the footage was provided by a private-hire driver who was driving two passengers from Tan Tock Seng Hospital to Bukit Batok.

The passengers can be heard saying that they are doctors and can help.

Two people are then seen alighting from the vehicle and rushing to the accident scene.
