Taiwan mum takes college son for health check over fears penis too small, doctor compares it to 'giant Shihlin sausage' instead
Not a huge problem.
A mother in Taiwan recently made headlines after she brought her college-aged son to a urologist over fears that he had underdeveloped genitals, which she worried would prevent him from finding a girlfriend.
Instead, the doctor who conducted the check up confirmed that not only was the man undergoing normal development, he had a penis that was "basically a giant sausage from Shihlin".
Huge problem
The hilarious encounter was recounted by urologist, Gu Fangyu, on Threads on Dec. 2, where she described the mother as being "anxious" about her son's development.
Gu explained in the post that situations concerning genital sizes were common in overweight patients, as excess fats tends to cause a visual discrepancy.
Expecting such a scenario, she was instead surprised to find that the man had a penis the size of a giant Shihlin sausage, a popular Taiwanese street snack.
She reassured the man's mother of his normal development, upon which the latter admitted that she was worried about him "losing out" to others in finding a girlfriend at university due to his genital's size.
She also asked Gu if there were supplements her son could take to enhance his development.
"Don't worry about losing at the starting line," Gu replied instead.
