A man on a bus was filmed scolding a younger man, apparently upset that the latter had been chatting on public transport.
The older man, who was dressed in a blue shirt and a blue cap, could be heard saying: "You want to fight? I'm a Singaporean, you know?"
He continued: "You know who you are? Behave yourself."
The younger man, apparently a migrant worker, responded: "I know."
The 38-second clip, posted to Singapore Incidents' Facebook page on Dec. 9, has since garnered 84,000 views.
Cursing out
In the clip, the older passenger, whose back faced the camera, could be heard shouting at the younger man to speak more quietly.
The younger man retorted with "now you are louder", to which the elderly uncle shouted, "now I am telling you, f*ck you".
The younger man then gestured to the opposite row of the bus and asked the elderly man to sit.
Agitated, the older man asked if he wanted a fight.
"I'm a Singaporean, you know?" he asked.

Argument continues
As the older man continued to loudly mock him, the younger man asked: "Can you talk nicely?"
He repeated this twice.

Due to the unintelligibility of the older man's speech, it is unclear what the context of the altercation is.
Some online users surmised that it was a noise issue, while others suggested that the older man might have been unhappy because the other man sat in a priority seat.
But based on the video footage, there were other unoccupied seats on the bus.
Users also speculated that the older man was intoxicated.
