Passengers were heard yelling for the bus captain to stop and open the doors.
A bus travelling from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Dec. 5 saw some sparks mid-journey, leaving passengers panicked.
Passengers yelling
In a clip shared on Instagram page SG Daily, an orange glow could be seen emanating from the bus ceiling.
Smoke drifted into the bus cabin, and sparks could be seen falling from the ceiling as well.
Some passengers were heard shouting to alert the bus captain to the incident.
"F***ing stop the bus!" A passenger yelled.
The same person later yelled for the bus doors to be opened.
Several passengers could be seen rising from the seats and moving away from the sparks.
Passengers could be heard yelling "fire, fire" in the video.

A photo of a ticket showing an invoice from Starmart Express for a service departing Singapore on Dec. 5 at about 11:32 pm was also shown, but the video did not clarify if it was the bus featured in the video.
The words "KS Global Holidays" could be seen plastered across a bus' windshield in another photo.
It is unclear from the video if anyone was injured or what happened afterwards.
Mothership has reached out to Starmart Express and KS Global Holidays for comments.
