2 S'porean men, aged 46 & 56, arrested in Johor after fighting in police station

Two Singaporean men were arrested in Johor, Malaysia, after a fight at the Larkin Police Station on Dec. 21.

The two suspects, aged 46 and 56, were at the counter when the incident occurred at 6:15pm.

Fight at mall

The two men were earlier engaged in a fight at a shopping mall.

The fight reportedly occurred at 5:20pm on the first floor of the shopping mall.

It allegedly started after one suspect’s wife was splashed with beer when one of the men nearly bumped into her.

When one of them was filing a police report, the other approached the counter, and a sudden attack led to a scuffle, Malaysia police said in a statement.

Officers on duty broke up the scuffle.

Both suspects sustained minor injuries and were treated at Sultanah Aminah Hospital before being arrested.

Both suspects tested negative for drugs and were remanded for two days starting from Dec. 21.

The case is being investigated under the Penal Code and Police Act 1967.
