Two Singaporean men, aged 46 and 56, were arrested in Johor, Malaysia, for fighting at the Larkin Police Station on Dec. 21.

They were at the counter when they fought at 6:15pm and had to be broken up by police officers at the scene, it was previously reported.

First altercation in mall

The two men were earlier engaged in a fight at a shopping mall.

The fight reportedly occurred at 5:20pm on the first floor of the mall.

It allegedly occurred after one suspect’s wife was splashed with beer when one of the men nearly bumped into her.

A video of the incident has been shared online.

The fight apparently started after one man threw a can and it bounced off the other man's head.

Both sides then started swinging wildly at each other.

The men appeared to have been accompanied by a partner each.

Both of the partners tried to intervene to no avail.

After a brief respite, the fight then resumed and both men entered a salon and wrecked the place as they scuffled.

One of the women then hit one of the men.

Another man at the scene tried to intervene, but to no avail.

Fight at police station

When one of them was subsequently filing a police report, the other approached the counter, and a sudden attack led to a scuffle, Malaysia police said in a statement.

Officers on duty broke up the scuffle.

Both suspects sustained minor injuries and were treated at Sultanah Aminah Hospital before being arrested.

Both suspects tested negative for drugs and were remanded for two days starting from Dec. 21.

The case is being investigated under the Penal Code and Police Act 1967.
