From now until Nov. 14, the Taobao 11.11 sale offers up to 15 per cent off sitewide on participating products, S$4 off daily shipping vouchers, up to S$25 off from bank promotions, and more on top of already affordable prices.

Tell your mum, tell your friends — you’ll get rewarded for it. Under the new Taobao Affiliate programme, you can now earn up to 30 per cent commission if someone buys a product you shared through your link.

Share your recommendations via the Taobao Affiliate programme and earn up to 30 per cent commission

If the items on Taobao have got you excited, why not share the joy?

Sharing is caring — and earning, thanks to Taobao’s new affiliate programme. 

With each successful referral of a product, you earn up to 30 per cent in commission. If a new Taobao user buys something through your referral link, you get an additional S$14.

The programme now works on the English app interface. To join, simply go to the search bar on the homepage of your Taobao app (with the location set to Singapore) and search “Affiliate”. 

It will lead you to the Affiliate portal. Tap “join now” at the bottom, then fill up the form with your phone number, email address, and at least one social media handle.

Once your registration is approved, you can start sharing and earning.

To share products you love, go to the product listing, and tap on “Earn commission by sharing products”. You will get a unique tracking link that you can send to your friends and family on social media, messaging apps, or any community platform.

You can check your earnings, number of buyers referred, and more under “account” on the Affiliate portal. More detailed reports are available on the web browser here.

Currently, withdrawals of earnings can only be done on the web browser version. 

First, you need to add your bank account to your affiliate account, and set it as your default withdrawal bank. 

When you want to make a withdrawal, go to “withdraw” under “account”, and request a payout to the default bank account.
