Yishun murder suspect, 66, remanded for medical examination

Koh Ah Hwee, the 66-year-old man who has been charged with the murder of his neighbour over a noise dispute in Yishun, has been ordered to be remanded for medical examination.

The prosecutor said that Koh will face a High Court charge and asked for him to be remanded at Changi Prison's medical centre.
A further court hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 30.
On Sep. 24, Koh allegedly attacked his neighbours with a knife over a noise dispute.
The attack resulted in the death of 30-year-old Nguyen Phuong Tra.
Koh was charged with murder on Sep. 25, via a field magistrate, while he was still in the hospital.
On Oct. 6, he was brought back to the scene of the crime as part of the investigation.
