Man, 73, found dead in Bedok North flat after neighbour noticed PMA untouched outside for several days & called police
The deceased was visited by his siblings occasionally previously.

A 73-year-old man, who lived alone, was found dead inside his Block 518 Bedok North flat on Oct. 16.
This was after neighbours noticed something amiss as his personal mobility aid was left outside the fifth floor unit for several days.
The police were alerted.
Lived in unit for over 30 years
A resident of the block shared with Shin Min Daily News that the deceased was a Chinese man who lived alone following the passing of his parents.
He had been living in the unit for over 30 years, but was eventually alone in the last 10 years or so, it was reported.
This was after the man's siblings moved out one after another, the neighbour noted.
Last seen about a week ago
The deceased was previously last seen by a resident on Oct. 11.
The neighbour noted that the deceased would keep his PMA in his home, but instead saw it outside his unit for many consecutive days.
It was also reported that the deceased was a rag-and-bone man.
His two sisters would visit him occasionally previously.
The police said they received a call for assistance on Thursday at about 1:15pm.
The man was found lying motionless and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations found no foul play is suspected.
Police investigations are ongoing.
