Woman in Toa Payoh falls to her death, supposedly a domestic worker newly-arrived in S'pore

She reportedly arrived in Singapore four days ago.

Telegram WhatsappA 39-year-old woman fell to her death from a Toa Payoh HDB flat on September 25.

The woman was alleged to be a newly-employed domestic worker who had only been in Singapore for four days, according to 8world, citing a viral online post.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force told Mothership that on Sep. 25, at around 8:05 am, they received a call for assistance from Block 9, Lorong 7 Toa Payoh.

An SCDF paramedic attended the scene and pronounced a person dead.

Videos and pictures of the incident have been circulating on social media, many from other domestic workers commiserating over the tragic death.

According to those posts, the woman was supposedly from Indonesia, and it was speculated that she was drying clothes when she fell through the window.

Other videos show police attending the scene, having set up a blue tent over the deceased.
