The wife of a man, who passed away after a motorcycle accident along Bedok North Road on Jul. 18, is looking for the Good Samaritan who persisted in CPR attempts before help arrived.

This was after the late motorcyclist's wife received an eyewitness account following her appeal on social media.

Man persisted with CPR

The man, whose ethnicity is believed to be Chinese, had administered CPR on the victim "multiple times" before the ambulance arrived, the wife, Hazura, wrote on Facebook.

Speaking to Mothership, she shared that she learned about the Good Samaritan's efforts after an eyewitness reached out to her to provide an account of what happened.

According to the eyewitness' account, a "lady driver" had stopped to try and render assistance.

"Most notably, a Chinese man stayed by my husband’s side the entire time," Hazura said.

Hazura added that the man "did not leave" and continued performing CPR, even as Hazura's husband "regained and lost consciousness multiple times".

"His efforts lasted quite some time until the ambulance arrived," Hazura noted.

She said:

We are extremely grateful for his unwavering actions, and I hope to reach out and thank him personally for trying so hard to save my husband.
