Singapore will see less rain and more warm days for the remaining days in July 2025.

Warm conditions

The Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) said in its Jul. 16 fortnightly update that the daily maximum temperatures are likely to be above 34°C on some days, with around 28°C temperatures on a few nights, which will be warm and humid.

These conditions will be prevalent in the southern and eastern parts of the island.

Less rain

Overall, conditions will be drier than the first half of the month.

Short, thundery showers are expected over parts of Singapore in the late morning and afternoon only on some days.

Rain on most days in 1st half of July

This is in contrast to the localised, short and thundery showers over parts of the island on most days in the first half of July, which was due to the south-west monsoon conditions, with winds blowing mostly from the south-east or south-west.

The daily total rainfall of 87.6mm recorded at Sentosa on Jul. 9 was the highest rainfall recorded for the first fortnight of July 2025, MSS added.

This was due to the regional convergence of winds that brought moderate to heavy thundery showers over many areas of Singapore that morning.

However, most parts of the island experienced below-average rainfall during that period, MSS added.
