Sistic website crashes minutes before My Chemical Romance S'pore concert ticket sales
What a killjoy.
Minutes before the ticket sales for rock band My Chemical Romance's Singapore show was due to start, the Sistic website crashed.
Users received a variety of different error messages when they tried to enter the ticketing service's website.

Users turned to social media to voice their complaints about the website's sudden crash.
One remarked that this was despite the booking fee for the concert being relatively high, at S$12 for tickets priced at S$250 and below, and S$15 for tickets priced above that threshold.
In comparison, the booking fee for Taylor Swift's 2024 concert was S$6 for tickets S$300 and below.
In response to Mothership's queries, a Sistic spokesperson said they are aware of the issue.
"The disruption was short-lived and affected only a portion of users," the spokesperson said.
"That said, the majority of transactions were successfully completed, and most fans were able to secure their seats without interruption.
We’re grateful for the patience and enthusiasm shown by fans, and we want to assure everyone that system stability is a top priority."
American rock band
The American rock band's return to Singapore comes after nearly 20 years.
They will be performing for one night only at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Apr. 28, 2026, at 8pm.
Prices range from S$148 to S$328.
