Live in Punggol North? You can register for a dinner 'date' with DPM Gan.

If you're a Punggol North resident, here's an idea for an evening activity: Go on a dinner "date" with Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Punggol North posted the invitation on his social media page on Jul. 10.

It was captioned: "Can we have a date?"

A total of nine sessions are planned for the series, with the first session open to residents in Parc Terraces.

It will be held on Jul. 19.

Residents can choose from two dining options: Leong Ji Kitchen (non-halal), or House of White Bee Hoon (halal).

The meal will also be paid for. How gentlemanly.

Things to note

The "date" is open to families of four.

Additional guests are not allowed.

The lucky family will be selected randomly among applicants. Registration closes on Jul. 16, 12pm.

Photos and videos may be taken during the event, for publicity and community engagement purposes.
