British man, 62, allegedly insults S'pore Airlines crew, hurls racist remarks & threatens others on plane
He called an SQ crew member a "d*ckhead" and shoved the crew member's shoulder twice, causing the crew member to fall back.
A British man was charged with insulting two Singapore Airlines (SQ) crew members on a flight from London to Singapore.
Harris Steven George, 62, also faces charges for threatening and insulting two passengers on the flight.
George faces four charges, two for criminal intimidation and using insulting words to cause harassment, and two under the Air Navigation Act, for his behaviour towards the crew members.
Insults and threats
According to charge sheets, all incidents allegedly took place on flight SQ309, heading to Singapore from London, between 5:14pm on Apr. 27 and 6:21am on April 28 (Singapore time).
George apparently told one SQ crew member to "f*ck off" and "f*ck you, you are just a glorified bar man".
In another instance, George called another SQ crew member a "d*ckhead" and shoved the crew member's shoulder twice, causing him to fall on his rear.
George also threatened one person on the flight, saying: "You are Israeli, f*ck off, I'll kill you".
George yelled "f*ck off" again, which led the person to believe George would attack him.
In addition, he insulted another person and said it was "disgusting that two races would mix" and "Britain is not white any more".
According to CNA, George intends to plead "not guilty", and his case has been adjourned for a pre-trial conference in August 2025.
