Yes 933 DJ Hazelle Teo, 31, announced her engagement to James Wong, a 24-year-old musician based in Singapore.
Teo shared the news in an Instagram post on Jun. 6, recounting the surprise proposal that took place during the final night of a work trip in Qingdao, China.
According to Teo, she had returned from her hotel at 1am, expecting a few hours of rest before catching a 6am flight back to Singapore.
Instead, she was greeted by a room filled with flowers and warm lighting, where Wong stood waiting with a camera set up, ready to propose.
Teo revealed Wong had planned everything behind the scenes.
She wrote:
"This feels so right. We feel so right. The rest of our lives feels so right. We’re so excited to begin this new chapter together, and thank you for sharing in our joy."
The couple met last year during a work collaboration and have been dating ever since.
