There is one quote from a television series that perfectly captures my relationship with coffee:

“This is a jumbo coffee morning. I need coffee in an IV.”

And there have been no truer words uttered.

So, for those who need coffee to function or those who just want to have their own coffee machine for their home, Nespresso’s subscription plans are there to fuel you.

The best part? You can own a Nespresso coffee machine for just S$1.

Yes, you will own the Nespresso coffee machine from the first day of your Nespresso subscription plan.

How does it work?

There are four subscription plans (and five coffee machines) to choose from, each including a specific Nespresso machine that best suits your caffeine needs and lifestyle.

Your monthly subscription fees get converted into store credits that will be valid for up to six months after your plan ends.

The credits can be spent on any Nespresso product, such as coffee capsules and stylish coffee accessories like cups, mugs, and capsule dispensers, to elevate your experience.

The plans start from:

  • Solo: S$40/month and S$1 Essenza Mini

This plan is great if you are the only coffee drinker at home since it’s a fuss-free, space-saving machine that gets the job done.

  • Duo: S$50/month and S$1 Vertuo Pop

For those who have two coffee drinkers in their house, you can consider getting this to have coffee in a range of styles and sizes.

  • Family: S$70/month and S$1 Vertuo Next

This plan is sure to satisfy your whole family’s caffeine cravings - and with over 30 coffee blends to explore, there is something for everyone.

  • Café-At-Home:

    • S$90/month and S$1 Lattissima One
    • S$130/month and S$1 Vertuo Lattissima

Whether you’re the barista-type, or if you’re looking to impress your guests with a good cuppa, this might just be for you.

In addition, you will get an immediate upgrade as a Nespresso Ambassador when you subscribe to the “Café-At-Home” plan!

Being a Nespresso Ambassador is the highest tier in Nespresso’s loyalty programme, which unlocks the access to Nespresso’s Coffee Masterclasses and exclusive rewards.

So it pays to be a coffee lover.

With the aesthetics that these coffee machines offer, it’s hard for your guests not to be amazed, all while sipping on that nice cup of coffee.

If you love milk with your coffee, you can also add on S$10/month to own an Aeroccino3 Milk Frother (for Solo, Duo and Family plans) to whip up creamy, frothy cappuccinos and lattes easily at home.

Each plan is tailored to your coffee needs and lifestyle, so if you require more coffee, you can choose a Nespresso subscription plan that gives you more monthly credits to purchase capsules.

If you stay with the subscription plan for a year, you can enjoy an extra 10 percent of credits a month from the 13th month onwards at the same subscription price.

S$1 in this economy?!

Yes.

Instead of the usual S$6 to S$8 that you’ve been paying for your coffee daily, you can enjoy your daily coffee starting at just S$1 with a Nespresso subscription plan.

The machine also comes with a two-year warranty to keep your machine in tip-top condition.

So, while coffee in an IV sounds appealing, you can perhaps get coffee into your system more effectively through the Nespresso subscription plan.

Plus, imagine all the time you would have saved from queuing for coffee.

Coffee lovers can subscribe at the Nespresso website or in-person at the Nespresso boutiques at ION Orchard, Raffles City, and VivoCity.

Then relax while your coffee machine is delivered to your doorstep and dream of creating your favourite coffee or trying one of the numerous Nespresso coffee recipes.

PSA: If you are thinking of gaming the system, think again.

If you cancel your subscription within seven days, you must return the Nespresso coffee machine and any other Nespresso products you bought with the credits, unused and in good condition.

This excludes coffee and other consumables.

However, if you change your mind before the end of the 12-month period but after seven days of subscription, you will have to pay a cancellation fee that corresponds to your plan, which ranges from S$170 to S$400.

You will keep the machine, and your remaining credits can be used for up to six months after you cancel your subscription.

Each customer is only eligible to sign up for one Nespresso subscription plan per account and household address.
