Pig head, liver, & pork skin found outside Boon Keng home, man, 42, arrested for loanshark harassment
He will be charged under the Moneylenders Act 2008 on Jun. 14.
A 42-year-old man was arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of loanshark harassment on Jun. 13, 2025.
The man is accused of leaving behind a debtor's note and a plastic bag containing a pig head, liver, and pork skin at the main gate of a residential unit along McNair Road on Thursday, said the Singapore Police Force in a Jun. 13 news release.
According to the police, they were alerted to the case at around 7:50pm on Jun. 12.
Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from the Central Police Division established the man's identity and arrested him.
The man will be charged in court on Jun. 14 under the Moneylenders Act 2008.
For first-time offenders, the offence of loanshark harassment carries a fine between S$5,000 and S$50,000, with imprisonment of up to five years, and caning of up to six strokes.
