Truck catches on fire along PIE near Bukit Timah, no reported injuries
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

A truck caught on fire along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) towards Tuas before the Eng Neo Avenue exit.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership it was alerted to the incident around 7:45pm on May 7.
There were no reported injuries, and the fire was extinguished by SCDF using a water jet.
Front of truck engulfed in flames
A video posted on the Singapore Road Vigilante Facebook showed the front of the truck being engulfed in flames, with black smoke emitting from the fire.
Orange cones barricaded the surrounding area, and police officers were at the scene.

Another video showed the aftermath of the incident after the fire was extinguished, with at least two ambulances and a few firefighters nearby.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) warned the public on May 7 that an accident had happened on the PIE towards Tuas after Eng Neo Avenue, and there would be congestion till the Stevens Road Exit.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
