S'pore Mercedes allegedly gets into horrific crash in Sepang race circuit in M'sia, driver sustains spinal injuries
"Oh f*ck, there's no brake."

A Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R apparently from Singapore got into a horrific crash at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
A video retrieved from inside the vehicle was subsequently shared online.
Video showed crash from inside of car
The clip showed the driver accompanied by a front seat passenger.
The car apparently could not brake in time and crashed into a safety barrier.
This occurred while the driver was executing a left turn along a bend.
He could be heard saying: "Oh f*ck, there's no brake."
The car then slammed into a safety wall.
The footage showed a flurry of distorted scenes before the vehicle apparently came to a stop.
A tire was seen rolling past the car on the grass patch.
Extent of damage
Photos of the aftermath of the incident, as well as the video of the crash, were posted on Facebook on May 19.
The post claimed that the passenger was the owner of the Mercedes and the driver was an experienced race driver.
The car was apparently travelling at 229kmh when the brakes failed.
It crashed into the wall at about 180kmh.
The driver was purportedly hospitalised with spinal injuries.

"Let's all pray that he makes a full recovery. He did very well to manage the situation," the post added.
The post also warned against racing at the circuit using a regular vehicle that is ill-equipped to cope with the demands of braking hard and travelling at high speeds, as parts not adapted for racing can pose safety issues.
