Maserati driver under investigation: Johor police
According to a statement by Johor police, the fatal accident took place at approximately 7pm on May 9 at KM 0.6 of the Second Link highway, on the Malaysia side.
Iskandar Puteri District police chief Kumarasan A/L Muniandy said the accident involved three motorcycles and one car and resulted in one death.
Investigations found that the suspect, driving a red Maserati, made an illegal U-turn to head towards Singapore.
However, the Maserati driver crashed into the central divider, causing the metal barrier to protrude into the opposite lane, Kumarasan said.
About 15 minutes later, a Malaysian motorcylist on a yellow Honda RS crashed into the metal barrier and fell onto the roadside.

Johor police are investigating the Maserati driver for causing death by reckless and dangerous driving.
Kumarasan urged eyewitnesses of the fatal accident to come forward and provide more details.
