1939 Singapore, restaurant & bar at Keong Saik Road, closing down on May 31, 2025

1939 Singapore at Keong Saik Road, formerly Potato Head Singapore, will be closing its shutters for good at the end of this month.

The multi-concept venue made the announcement on a social media post, saying that it will be "bidding farewell" on May 31, 2025.

"1939 has been more than a bar, a kitchen, or a rooftop. It's been memories made, burgers devoured, cocktails clinked, and countless nights we'll never forget— all because of you," the post read.

The venue encourages the public to stop by as it counts down to its final opening day.

"Thank you for being part of our story. Let's make this last month legendary."

Multi-concept venue

1939 opened its doors to the public in November last year, taking over Potato Head Singapore at 36 Keong Saik Road.

It is known as a multi-concept venue split into four areas: Three Buns at level one, The Restaurant at level two, Studio 1939 cocktail bar at level three, and The Rooftop Bar at level 4.
