S’porean motorcyclist, 26, dies after skidding on wet road & crashing into truck in Thailand
The accident may have occurred due to worn-out tires and the road being slippery from the rain.

A Singaporean man, 26, passed away in Yala province, the southernmost Province of Thailand, on Apr. 17 after he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving and slammed into a pickup truck.
Local police reported that the accident may have occurred due to worn-out tires and the road becoming slippery from the rain.
A video posted on Facebook showed a Singapore-registered motorcycle skidding at a bend on the road, leading to the rider crashing into a pickup truck driving on the opposite lane.
Another motorcyclist driving behind the truck also suffered minor injuries after it crashed into the truck's rear due to being unable to stop in time, Shin Min Daily News reported.
Local officers later arrived to assist and set up traffic cones to redirect vehicles.
