WP announces another 3 new GE2025 candidates, including senior counsel Harpreet Singh
Fresh faces.
The Workers' Party (WP) unveiled another three new candidates who will stand in the 2025 General Election on Apr. 19, 2025.
This is the third consecutive day WP has held a press conference where new candidates were revealed. However, WP did not announce where these new candidates will be running.
Here are the three new candidates:
Harpreet Singh, 59
The senior counsel is considered one of the Workers' Party "star catches" and has been with WP since 2023.
He began volunteering with the party during the Covid-19 pandemic and has been spotted on walkabouts at Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC more recently.
There was speculation that he may be fielded at the hotly-contested East Coast GRC, where WP has contested in the past four elections.
Jasper Kuan, 46
Kuan is a strategist in the financial and digital payment sectors. He has been speculated to be running in Tampines.
Sufyan Mikhail Putra, 33
One of the more recent new faces spotted for WP. According to ST, the lawyer was spotted in Punggol back in February.
Here are the candidates introduced from the previous two days.
