Tin Pei Ling, new faces Diana Pang & Gho Sze Kee spotted at Marine Parade Town Council event
A Marine Parade plan.
People's Action Party (PAP) new faces Diana Pang and Gho Sze Kee were spotted at the Apr. 19 launch of the Marine Parade Town Council five-year plan.
The rest of the Marine Parade team — Mountbatten's Lim Biow Chuan, MacPherson's Tin Pei Ling, former Nee Soon GRC MP Faishal Ibrahim, and the former Marine Parade GRC MPs — were also present.

At the launch of the plan, anchor minister Tan See Leng told residents that the Marine Parade team has completed over 134 improvement projects over the past five years.
The new masterplan on the other hand will feature over 140 projects, developed with partner agencies, at an expected cost of over S$324 million.

After the launch, all eight PAP candidates were seen interacting with residents and handing out SG60 plushies.

Tan also briefly addressed questions from the media in a doorstop interview.
Asked if the masterplan was affected by the boundary changes listed in the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee (EBRC), the manpower minister said that that the plan has been in the works for the past five years.
He added that even with part of East Coast GRC being carved out, Marine Parade GRC and Mountbatten SMC remain "largely within the cluster itself".
As for the recently-absorbed MacPherson SMC, it has always been managed by the Marine Parade Town Council and hence was part of the planning process.
But "we can never be presumptuous," he added.
When they planned for the launch of the five-year plan, the team "didn't anticipate that the big day would come within two weeks".
"So now, with the big day coming in two weeks, and all of us are no longer Members of Parliament, we should acknowledge with humility and understand the fact that in every election, voters have their choice.
We respect every single position....and we just want to say that we will do our best, come what may, for every single one of our residents."

New faces
Pang and Gho have been spotted at Marine Parade events since last month.
Pang, a business development director, has been observed with Tan, while Gho, a lawyer, has been seen accompanying Lim.
It remains unclear what the PAP's final line-up for Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC and Mountbatten SMC will be.
This is with the exception of Faishal, a former Nee Soon GRC MP, who previously confirmed that he would move to stand in Marine Parade-Braddell Heights at Prime Minister Lawrence Wong's request.
