Woman in China pays off late boyfriend's S$100,000 debt, takes care of his parents even after she gets married
Dedication.
A woman in China repaid her boyfriend's debt after his untimely passing.
Her boyfriend, Zeng, had owed business expenses, which amounted to over S$100,000.
Despite having no legal obligation to pay it off, Wang Ting, 34, insisted on repaying his debts.
According to South China Morning Post, Wang knew that there was no way his parents could have paid off that huge sum of money.
As for her late boyfriend's parents' welfare, Wang has that covered as well.
When Zeng's mother had a breakdown after the death of her son, Wang was the one who took her on trips to get her spirits up.
And when his father required medical treatment for his heart condition, it was also Wang who looked after him in the hospital.
Even when she eventually got married in 2020, that commitment never faltered.
According to SCMP, not only did she invite her late boyfriend's parents to her wedding, she expressed what she thought of them: "You will always be my parents and the most important people in my life. I will have six parents from now on."
