The accident
Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership that on Apr. 18 at about 7:20pm, they were alerted to the accident along Simei Road towards Somapah Road.
Two motorcycles were involved, police said.
Dashcam footage taken by a car showed a motorcyclist making a right turn from Simei Road to a side road at around 7:18pm.
The rider had signalled right before riding through the yellow box in front of a waiting car.
However, as he was about to complete the turn, a motorcyclist who was going straight collided with him.
