A horrifying high-speed crash occurred in Malaysia on Apr. 2.

A 32-second footage of the incident was circulated online.

The incident occurred along the North-South Expressway northbound near Tanjung Malim, Perak on Wednesday, according to New Straits Times.

What footage showed

Two vehicles appeared to be speeding along the highway, with a white car apparently racing a grey car.

According to the dashboard camera's built-in speedometer, the car recording the scene was going at more than 120kmh at one point, but was still overtaken by the two speeding cars.

A few seconds into the video, the white car lost control and veered off the road to the left.

The white car hit a cliff beside the expressway and flipped multiple times.

The car recording the footage was unable to stop and hit a man, who got flung out of the white car without his shirt on.

The shirtless man was thrown forward across the road several metres upon making impact with the oncoming vehicle.

Authorities have yet to issue a statement regarding the incident, according to NST, with no updates about those involved.

Commenters speculated whether the man who got flung out of the white car was driving without his shirt on or had it ripped off in the process after the car flipped.

Some also speculated the shirtless man did not have his seatbelt on.

The antics of the speeding drivers were slammed by commenters, who condemned their reckless behaviour and for endangering other road users.
