S'porean man, 32, wanted in Bangkok after Thai girlfriend found dead in hotel room
Her branded bag and watch were also reportedly missing.
A manhunt is reportedly underway for a 32-year-old Singaporean man in Bangkok.
His girlfriend, 30-year-old Prao-Pilas, was found dead in a hotel room on Mar. 26, reported Thai media Khaosod.
Her body was wrapped in two layers — a blanket and a bedsheet — and unclothed.
Visible wounds and blood were also found on her head.
Her branded handbag and watch were missing from the room as well, according to her friends.
Missing for days
Her friends decided to file a police report after being unable to contact her since the evening of Mar. 24.
At Prao-Pilas's hotel room, the door was found unlocked, with the air-conditioner running, and her body in the bathroom.
One of her friends revealed that Prao-Pilas had been dating a Singaporean man named Daniel.
She alleged that Prao-Pilas had complained of regular arguments and physical abuse at her boyfriend's hands.
According to hotel CCTV footage, Daniel was seen escorting Prao-Pilas to the room on Mar. 23, and then leaving alone with his luggage on Mar. 25.
He is currently wanted by the police for questioning.
