Shawn Loh, MOF budget director for 2024 & 2025 resigns, 5th senior civil servant resignation in recent weeks

Shawn Loh, the Budget director for 2024 and 2025, will resign from his position as director of security and resilience programmes at the Ministry of Finance on Apr. 6, according to The Straits Times.
Loh started his public service career at the Ministry of Education's planning division.
He joined MOF in 2023, and was in the strategy group at the Prime Minister's Office from Sep. 2016 to Mar. 2020.
He is the latest in a line of senior civil servants to resign in recent weeks.
