Local durian seller to launch durian vending machine at Tampines MRT station from Jan. 24, 2025
FYI, durian lovers.
Homegrown durian retailer Kaki Kaki will roll out a durian vending machine at Tampines MRT station from Jan. 24, 2025.
In celebration of Chinese New Year 2025, which falls on Jan. 29, customers can buy a box of Mao Shan Wang durians at the vending machine at a promotional price of S$18.88, instead of the usual S$38.
According to Kaki Kaki, each box will have 400g of durian, and the promotion period will run from Jan. 24 to Feb. 12.
In terms of quality, the retailer said that all of its durians are transported "through a cold-chain process from farm to table" and are "specially packed and sealed to persevere freshness".
The new durian vending machine at Tampines will bring the total number of such machines operated by Kaki Kaki in Singapore to four.
The other vending machines, which were launched in December 2024, are located at Parc Oasis in Jurong East, Casa Merah in Tanah Merah, and Skypark Residences in Sembawang.
