4.5m-tall Madam White Snake floral display at Gardens by the Bay for CNY till Feb. 23, 2025

Gardens by the Bay has launched its Chinese New Year floral display for 2025.
This year's display is called "Spring Blossoms: Legend of the Lady White Snake", inspired by the Chinese folklore of the same name.For the uninitiated, the love story between a mortal man Xu Xian and a female snake spirit Bai Suzhen, also known as Madam White Snake.
The display will run till Feb. 23, 2025.
More than 23,000 plants used
Visitors will be able to see a 4.5m-tall, 26m-long living sculpture of Madam White Snake.
To make Madam White Snake, more than 23,000 plants were arranged by hand.
It's made using plants such as moth orchids, kalanchoes and cyclamens.
It took 33 horticulturists from GBTB and Beijing Florascape two weeks to put the sculpture together.

More than 31,000 plants were used to make the various mosaiculture elements.
