Woman, 35, found dead in Scotts Road hotel room in Orchard
Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.

A 35-year-old woman was pronounced dead on May 18, 2026, after she was found motionless in a hotel room at Scotts Road.
Responding to Mothership’s queries, the police said they were alerted to a case of unnatural death at about 1am on May 18 at 10 Scotts Road, the address of the hotel.
The woman was found motionless in a room, according to the police.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership that they received a call for assistance regarding the same incident.
A person was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.
Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play and police investigations are ongoing.
A reader told Shin Min Daily News that police vehicles were spotted at the hotel in the wee hours of the morning.
