Passers-by and students worked together to clear a tree that fell onto a road in Serangoon on May 7.
The incident occurred outside Zhonghua Secondary School along Serangoon Avenue 3 at about 5:08 pm.
Around 20 people worked together to clear the fallen tree and reopen the road, Shin Min Daily News reported.
The tree fell and made audible noise.
In photos posted by Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC MP Seah Kian Peng, students wearing Zhonghua Secondary School uniforms and passers-by were seen working to remove the tree from the road.

The tree trunk sprawled across a walkway, cycling path and two roads.
It also damaged a green railing road divider.
A man dressed in a blue shirt was seen using a saw to cut the tree into smaller pieces, as the group was unable to lift it in one piece.
A passer-by was also seen directing a car attempting to pass through the road.
Tree
Speaking to Shin Min, a nearby resident claimed that the tree was already around 16 years ago.
He moved into the area in 2010, and the tree was already there in front of Block 326 Serangoon Avenue 3.
The tree was believed to have been about seven storeys tall.
Praise
In his post, Seah praised the Good Samaritans for their public spiritedness.
“This is the community spirit that we have in Braddell Heights and which I am so proud of,” he wrote.
Seah added that “the relevant agencies are also conducting checks on the health of trees in the surrounding vicinity” as a precautionary measure.
