S’pore Airlines ranks 5th for in-flight dining, Greek carrier takes top spot

Singapore Airlines was ranked the fifth best airline for in-flight dining.

In a study by travel insurance company Canstar, 125,000 passenger reviews from sites, such as Airlinemeals.net and Skytrax, were analysed to rank the top airlines for in-flight dining.

Greek airline Aegean Airlines was ranked the best among 100 airlines, with a score of 7.82 out of 10.

According to Aegean Group, the airliner operates 83 aircraft in its fleet, surpassing major carriers.

The airliner dominated the rankings with its fresh, regionally-inspired dishes and hospitality.

Singapore Airlines performance

Singapore Airlines was ranked the fifth best airline overall for in-flight dining with a score of 7.55 out of 10.

Within individual categories, it was placed 14th in both economy and business class, while ranking seventh in first class.

Other top performers included Qatar Airways, Asiana Airlines, and EVA Air.

South Korea and Japan were the only countries with multiple top 10 entries, with Asiana Airlines in third and Korean Air in sixth for South Korea, and All Nippon Airways in seventh and Japan Airlines in eighth for Japan.
