Thai model, 25, found dead in condo with pillows over head, boyfriend arrested in Chiang Mai hotel

A 25-year-old Thai model, who was also an online seller, was found dead inside a condominium unit in Nonthaburi province, with police later arresting her boyfriend at a hotel in Chiang Mai.
Authorities said initial forensic findings indicate the case is being treated as a homicide.
Body found beside bed with pillows placed over head
The victim, identified as Panitsuda Hattadol, also known as Dream, was discovered at about 7pm on May 2 inside a fourth-floor unit at a condominium in Bang Bua Thong district, according to Khaosod.
Her body was found lying face down beside a bed, with two pillows placed over her head.
The condominium unit was found in a state of disarray, with belongings scattered throughout the room.
Authorities also recovered a diary believed to belong to the suspect, with a message stating that someone was planning to harm him and requesting that his cat and belongings to be looked after.
Boyfriend identified as main suspect after leaving condo alone
Police identified the victim’s boyfriend, 33-year-old Nittirun Laosuksantisawong, as the primary suspect after he disappeared following the incident.
Surveillance footage showed him leaving the condominium alone on April 30 before he could no longer be contacted.
Officers later obtained a court warrant for his arrest on a charge of intentional murder.
Suspect arrested at hotel in Chiang Mai after fleeing north
Investigators said the suspect fled the area, first abandoning a red Mazda 2 in Suphan Buri province before continuing his journey north by bus.
He was later arrested at Choktawee Smile Hotel in Chiang Mai, where he was found staying in room 515, under a warrant issued by the Nonthaburi Provincial Court.
Police from Bang Bua Thong station are travelling to Chiang Mai to bring him back for further legal proceedings.
Diary suggested suspect believed someone was targeting him
Authorities said the diary recovered at the scene included a message suggesting the suspect believed someone was planning to harm him.
The note also asked that his belongings and pet cat be looked after.
Police have not confirmed a motive and said investigations are ongoing.
The victim’s body has since been returned to her family for religious rites in Yasothon province, Khaosod reported.
