Wet weather is here to stay in Singapore in early May 2026.
Thundery showers are expected over parts of Singapore in the afternoon on most days in the first two weeks of May 2026, the Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) said on Apr. 30.
The showers may extend into the evening on a few days.
On one or two mornings, Sumatra squalls may bring widespread thundery showers and gusty winds.
The total rainfall for the first fortnight of May 2026 is forecast to be above average over most parts of the island.
The upcoming wet weather is a continuation of rainy conditions in the second half of April, as thundery showers fell over parts of the island on most days then in the late morning and afternoon.
Will still be warm
However, Singapore will still likely be warm.
Daily maximum temperatures are forecast to range between 33°C and 35°C on most days, and slightly exceed 35°C on a few days.
