A Mercedes driver in Chongqing, China, reportedly lost control of her car and ploughed through a busy street in the city on May 10, killing two and injuring six.
She is apparently a doctor at a local hospital.
Debris, injured people lined the street
According to iFeng News, the accident occurred on Sunday afternoon.
Based on clips shared on Chinese social media site Weibo, the white Mercedes could be seen travelling across a pedestrian pavement before speeding up.

It was later seen entering a road against the flow of traffic before crashing into motorists and mounting the kerb.
Another clip showed the aftermath of the accident, where vehicular debris lined the busy street.
Multiple individuals were also seen lying on the ground.
Ambulance and paramedics were seen responding to the site.
In one clip, a lady was seen standing in front of a white car, which had crashed into a guardrail and stopped atop a flight of stairs.
Blood could be seen on the lady's hand and on her top.
An eyewitness said it was around 1:40pm when he saw the car speeding down the road, iFeng News reported.
'Improper operation' of car: local police
Local police posted a notice on May 10 stating that a 57-year-old female driver was involved in the car accident.
They attributed the cause to "improper operation" of the vehicle and ruled out drink driving.
The accident resulted in two deaths and six injuries, local police stated.
The driver is apparently a doctor at a local hospital, iFeng News reported.
