Mimi Chu, 71, has worn many hats over the course of her illustrious career.

She was most recently seen in the Chinese action thriller, Redemption.

Chu has also explained why she might not appear in a lot of Singapore dramas nowadays.

While younger audiences might know her primarily as an actress, Chu has an equally outstanding career as a singer.

Chu, who was from Ipoh, started off as a getai singer, before moving to Hong Kong in the 70s to perform at night clubs.

According to 8 Days, she was once dubbed the "Queen of Cantonese Folks Songs".

Chu, who has been living in Singapore for over a decade, caught up with longtime friend, and fellow performer, Li Lai Ha.

Li posted a picture of the two on her Facebook with the caption asking what viewers felt when they saw this picture.

Here it is.

Comments praised their longstanding friendship, and how healthy they both looked.

One reminisced about catching them on stage back in the days.

Others took it more literally, listing out the subjects in the picture.

"Two divas looking great, and a very happy dog."

Accurate.
