Man, 95, found dead at foot of The Tropica condo in Tampines

A 95-year-old man was found dead at the foot of The Tropica, a condominium complex in Tampines, on Apr. 10, 2026.

Responding to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to a case of fall from height at 4:50pm at Block 51 Tampines Avenue 1.

The 95-year-old was found lying motionless at the foot of the block.

He was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.

Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.

Police investigations are ongoing.

A video of the incident was shared on TikTok, showing SPF and SCDF officers attending to the scene, with a police cordon set up.

A police blue tent could also be seen in the video.
