Burger King at Woodleigh Mall closes down, to be replaced by Chinese claypot restaurant

Burger King at Woodleigh Mall has reportedly ceased operations, according to posts circulating on online forums, with the fast-food outlet now listed as closed.
A thread on HardwareZone drew attention to the closure, sparking discussion among users who noticed that the outlet was no longer in service.
Mothership understands that the outlet shut down a few days ago.
The outlet previously operated at #B1-01 of the mall at 11 Bidadari Park Drive.
The forum user shared a photo of hoarding showing that the space will be taken over by Gunkee, a Chinese restaurant specialising in claypot cuisine, which is slated to open in July 2026.

Gunkee opened its first outlet in South Bridge Road in 2025, serving Hunan dishes such as Honghu Lotus Root with Superior Pork Broth and Claypot Sauce Pork with Sweet Potato Vermicelli.
The restaurant chain reportedly hails from Henan.
Woodleigh Mall opened in mid-2023.
Burger King was one of several food and beverage tenants in the mall’s basement level, alongside other fast-food and casual dining outlets.
