The first half of April 2026 is expected to be wetter, with thundery showers forecast over parts of Singapore in the afternoon on most days.
According to the Meteorological Service Singapore, the showers may extend into the evening on a few days.
Sumatra squalls may also bring about widespread thundery showers and gusty winds for a morning or two.
While rain is expected in the first two weeks of April 2026, the daily maximum temperature may range from 33°C to 35°C on most days.
A few days may even see temperatures exceed 35°C when there is less cloud coverage.

The second half of March 2026 was warm, with daily maximum temperatures above 34°C on most days.
The highest daily maximum temperature of 35.4°C was recorded at Sembawang on Mar. 30, 2026.
Many areas across Singapore recorded well below-average rainfall, with only a few days of short-duration thundery showers in parts of the island.
