Woman, 30, arrested for theft in dwelling at Bright Hill Drive
The police were at the scene for about six hours.
A 30-year-old woman was arrested for theft in dwelling at a house in Bright Hill Drive.
The police told Mothership that they received a call for assistance at about 4:25pm on Sunday, Apr. 5.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the arrested woman was a foreign domestic worker.
Up to six police cars were seen parked outside the private residence at about 8pm.
A Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) van was also at the scene.
The lights in the house were turned on, but the curtains were drawn.
At one point, a woman was seen coming out of the unit.
When asked what had happened, she claimed to be a friend of a homeowner, and she was unaware of the specifics of the incident, adding that police investigations were ongoing.
Declined to comment further
Residents of the private estate were seen observing proceedings when police investigations were carried out.
The police were at the scene for about six hours.
When a Shin Min reporter returned to the house on Monday, the woman who answered the door said nothing had happened.
Police investigations are ongoing.
