A man in his 20s was arrested after he took his pants off at a soya bean drink shop in Xinzhuang District in Taiwan.

Surveillance footage of the incident was later circulated on Facebook.

The footage showed the man in glasses and shorts walking into the shop and taking a seat.

He was then seen immediately taking off his shorts and touching his crotch area.

His pants was reportedly already undone by the time he sat down.

The whole process lasted about 15 seconds before a shop staff approached him.

Heard someone telling him to take pants off

According to Formosa TV News Network, the man was called in by the police and he claimed he thought he was at home and heard someone tell him to take his pants off.

The news outlet also noted that the shop owner was a lady boss, and sought her comment, but she declined.

The video sparked a huge online discussion, according to local outlet Mirror Media.

An online commenter wrote: "The tools used in the crime should be confiscated."

Another commenter added: "Is he making soy milk at a soy milk shop?"

Others questioned whether he lost a dare.
